Modify entries


Create a new Record

Click the AddNew button . The Contact Details dialog window opens.

Edit a Record

    1. Select a contact from the list.
    2. Click the Edit button . The Contact Details window opens.

Archive a Record

    1. Select a contact from the list.
    2. Click the Archive button . The Contact Details dialog window opens.

Delete a Record

    1. Select a contact from the list.
    2. Click the Delete button or press the Delete key.

Restore an archived  Record

    1. Select <Archived> from the Category dropdown list in the toolbar
    2. Select a contact from the list.
    3. Click the Unarchive/restore button . The Contact Details dialog window opens.



Contact Details window


This window contains 2 tabs:

GENERAL view

COM view


  1. In General view: Type name, address etc. information in the appropriate boxes.
    Under File To, select how you want the record to be sorted and displayed in the Contacts list


  1. In both views you will find boxes where you can create lists with almost any number of items:

General view: Anniversaries, Addresses, Relations

Com view: Phone, Fax, Internet phone, IM, Websites, Email addresses, Custom fields

With the exception of addresses, the single items are composed of a label and a value ("Label-Value pairs"). Labels are chosen from or typed directly into the drop-down box. See examples below.


  1. Select a category from the Category dropdown list.
  2. To mark the record private, check the Private check box.
  3. To archive the record, check the Archive check box
  4. After you finish entering the record, save it by clicking or pressing the key combination <Ctrl Enter>.
    To abort the entry, press .

NB: if a record after saving does not appear in the list, it might have been marked as private or archived, wheareas the listing is set to exclude private and/or archived contacts.


Common features of listed items:

       Add item:        click the ADD button

       Edit an item:        click the EDIT button

       Delete an item:        click the DELETE button

       Reorder list:        click the UP button to shift the item one row up

       Save the item:        click the OK button

       Cancel entry:        click the CANCEL button

        Label - Value pairs (e.g. relations, anniversaries, email, phone, user defined, etc.):

               Label: can be selected from or typed directly into the drop-down list

               Value: data to be saved


a) GENERAL tab


       - Categories: every contact can join one or several groups/categories


- Birthday:

add the birthday: check the box and select the date from the date-picker box (or enter it directly)

       remove the birthday: uncheck the checkbox that precedes the date-picker box

       add the birthday to the calendar: check the checkbox following the date

- Anniversaries:

add an anniversary by clicking the add button

specify the type of anniversary by typing it into the drop-down box to the left

       enter or select the date from the date-picker box

optionally add it to the calendar by checking the box

User Defined data:

       the drop-down list contains default items that can be modified in the Settings (tab: Contacts)
