Overview

The Bookkeeping module keeps track of income and expenses in one or multiple accounts, grouping entries according to category, type of payment and, in particular, sensitivity.

Accounts
A default account ("Main Account") is predefined. In addition to the default account, you can create as many accounts as you need.

Transactions
For every account, you can add infinite transactions (income and expenses). Transactions can be grouped into categories, liberally defined by the user, to categorize your expenses and income. For every transaction, you can specify the type of payment (e.g. "cash", "bank transfer", "Mastercard", etc.). In addition to the predefined payment modes (customizable by the user), any number of new payment modes can be added.

Sensitivity
Transactions can be marked as highly sensitive ("private"). Private transactions are not visible in "hide private data" mode. To visualize these records, you will have to check the show private check box in the Settings, first. This gives the Settings window the top priority. Only if the Show Private setting is activated in the Settings, you will be able to toggle between Hide and Show in the View Menu.
