Purchase a license

Using a database beyond the 2-weeks trial period requires purchasing a license (Activation Key) to activate  the database.

Since every database generates its own random Serial Code, every database needs activation with a separate Activation Key. The Activation Key is bound to 1 harddisk.

Licensing of a database is easily completed in 2 steps:

  1. Purchase a license to receive the Activation Key via email.

  2. Enter the Activation Key into the database.

1. How to purchase a License and get the Activation Key:

Click on the link buttons below (ShareIt!). Compile the secure online form:

  • specify the Database Serial Code (a 25-character alphanumeric text string displayed on the Registration window and on the Startscreen of AbsolutePrivacy™); simply copy the code to the clipboard and paste it into the online form

  • complete the purchase of the license with the method of payment available through
    ShareIt.

The Activation Code will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

2. How to activate the database:

  • Start AbsolutePrivacy and open your database by entering the Master Passphrase.

  • From the Help Menu, select <Activate Database>.

  • Enter (or again: copy and paste) the Activation Key you got by email into the "Enter Activation Key" box. Click the [OK] button.

 

IMPORTANT: In order to protect the software against piracy, we have been forced to limit the validity of the activation to 1 (one) hard disk, only. Any transfer of the database to other PCs or harddisks will require purchasing a new Activation Key. We regret this policy but illegal copying and use of our software have warranted such measure.
